Client Introduction;

The Heritage House Group put it roots down in publishing many years ago and produces fine books for stately homes and prestigious sites throughout the UK. The Heritage House Group is in the enviable position to be able to combine over 50 years' experience in publications with cutting edge technology, to produce innovative, high quality material.

Project Overview; 

Syntax IT Services were approached to design and develop a, stock control and sales order processing system to replace Microsoft's Midrange ERP solution 'Navision' now known as Dynamics AX, an improved, simplified solution to address stock control, sales order processing, scheduling and communication between different departments and customers was required. After a comprehensive analysis of the system requirements and a review of potential off the shelf solutions for the client, Syntax IT Services developed a bespoke solution.

Interaction with Sage Line 50; 

  • SOP customer and supplier data is directly linked to Sage Line 50 customer data such as customer address, delivery addresses, and contact details, allows users to see account status i.e. account open, account on hold. 
  • SOP products are created using a BOM (Bill of materials) items can be related to a stock item with in Sage. 
  • Controls Stock within Sage Line 50, allocates stock upon creation of sales order and updates allocated/free stock when invoices are created. 
  • Automated SL Invoicing, when producing an invoice within SOP SL invoice posted into Sage Line 50.
Administration System; 
  • Easily add other staff members, change passwords, contact details. 
  • View KPI’s across all activity not limited to sales performance. 
  • Generate reports.
