Head of Recruitment

Position reports to: Managing Director
Job Purpose: Responsible for the day to day management of the Group's
recruitment activities
Located: Working from the Derby office
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Act as a senior level ambassador for the company within the rail and recruitment sector
Delivery of the sales budget for recruitment services, as agreed between the Management Team
Develop the company's Recruitment business through successful sales, against an agreed 3 year growth plan
Advise the Management Team on Recruitment Strategy for the Group
Act as the senior recruitment representative for the company
Provide recruitment services to meet all Recruitment requirements and to Rail, to ensure competent staff are identified and deployed in a timely manner, to accommodate project requirements
Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, potential customers and industry influencers
Plan and implement recruitment sales, marketing and product development programs, both short and long term, targeted toward existing and new markets
Represent the company at appropriate recruitment industry forums, exhibitions and events
Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities and advise the board accordingly
Direct market channel development activity to ensure Recruitment has effective routes to the market
Coordinates liaison between recruitment and other functions (engineering, finance, operations and procurement)
Prepare periodic sales report showing sales order book, sales forecast and marketing activities
Act as a recruitment advisor to the board to support the business strategy and input to the business planning process
Undertake specific tasks as determined by the Managing Director
