Open Day Success


Syntax’s East Midlands IT Permanent recruitment division opened their doors last week to hold an IT candidate open day. The day was open to all IT candidates and job seekers alike to offer expert advice on CV and interview techniques, career advice to those who may be looking in the next few months, and a chance to discuss any of our current live roles face to face.

Syntax’s Permanent IT recruitment division have an unrivalled knowledge of the employment markets and have developed exceptional business relationships with the region’s leading employers, from the national and multinational organisations, to the fastest growing dynamic technology start-ups. This placed them perfectly for the open day which saw a large number of candidates come along to put their questions to the team of consultants.

The event was promoted using social media alone and had a great turn-out on the day. The feedback from the event has been incredible and has encouraged other areas of the business to hold similar open days over the coming year.

Jeremy Gibson, Director of IT Recruitment, commented "We had our doors open from 11:30 until 20:00 and not one of the team got a moments rest! We met some fantastic individuals during the day and it gives us a much better chance of selling that particular candidates skills and attributes to our client base when we have met them face to face. A number of those who attended have already been put forward for live roles and we hope we will be able to generate opportunities for everyone that attended, either now or in the future.
