How we recruit - Contract

We believe gaining the right information along with clear communication is key to successful appointments.  Throughout the recruitment process we aim to keep in regular contact with you based on agreed timescales. We act as ambassadors for your organisation in the marketplace so it is key we work together to ensure we help maintain and build a positive image of your organisation with candidates.

Candidate / CV Selection
Job specifications are fully qualified by specialist recruiters.
Just reading the CV does not give you an full insight into the candidate, so each candidate will be contacted and profiled on things such as:

Levels of commitment and trust
Telephone manner and communication skills
Personality and drive
Levels of technical experience (Based on your criteria)
Motivations for leaving current role
Gaps in their CV and / or looking for signs of extensions elsewhere
Location / relocation issues
Rate expectations

Syntax will then ensure that every candidate is profiled either face to face or over the phone before submission. This stage will ensure that they meet the criteria set down in the job description.
We provide contractors that have previously completed successful assignments for us wherever possible.
We aim to submit a maximum of three to five candidates for selection (per vacancy) prior to interview, unless otherwise agreed.
Cvs are submitted with a synopsis as to why they are suitable along with other pertinent information such as rates, location, availability.
We obtain references for candidates we submit to interview.

Response Times
We will submit suitable candidates within 24 hours of being notified of a contract assignment.
If we are unable to source suitable candidates your consultant will inform you within an agreed time scale.

Interviews
All candidates submitted to you are briefed about your company, the role and the interview process.
Our current interview to placement ratio is 3:1

Placements
We maintain regular contact with successful candidates up to their first day and remain in touch after they have started as part of our Contractor Care Programme.
We pay contractors on a weekly basis.
