We are currently looking to expand our IT Development team in our Sheffield office and have a fantastic opportunity for an Applications Developer (Web/Sharepoint). This role will all be based within a team of developers working on a number of various websites and web applications. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of applications development, ie. Technical specification, development, documentation and unit testing.

Successful candidates will already have proven experience building corporate web sites/extranets and web applications using the .Net Framework. In addition, you will need to demonstrate proven skills in ASP.net, C# .Net 3.5, XHTML, SQL and general enthusiasm for software development. Experience of Sharepoint or other CMS, XML would also be beneficial.

This role will be ideally suited to a motivated and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working closely with other team members in a very busy department. You must be educated to degree level or equivalent. All candidates must be able to demonstrate a flexible approach and have the ability to prioritise their work, show initiative and deal with changing time scales/work loads. This role would suit a logical thinking individual with a professional manner.
