IT Service Desk Analyst
£20,000 – £30,000 (DoE)

IT Service Desk Analyst needed for a superb permanent career opportunity based in Wigan (Lancashire).

A chance to join an established digital solutions business providing services to the Healthcare sector. A friendly and relaxed working environment with scope for remote / hybrid working and a focus on putting people first.

An opportunity to work with a diverse team of colleagues across the UK, Europe and USA, and to get involved in IT projects including Cloud transformation. Start ideally in October/November 2021.

Key skills, experience + duties will include:

  • Providing 1st/2nd line support, diagnosis + fixes on laptop IT issues including: Windows, laptop builds, software, hardware, installation, configuration, printers + applications.
  • Key Tasks: User account management in Active Directory (AD), Group Policies, permissions, MS Office 365, SharePoint, MS Teams, Email Outlook.
  • Managing incoming IT Helpdesk requests from end users by phone, email + F2F.
  • Prioritising, scheduling + escalating IT incidents where appropriate.
  • Recording, tracking + documenting IT incidents using ticketing tools.
  • Communicating with end users + managing expectations from initial call through to resolution and close-out.
  • Advantageous: CompTIA qualification, PRTG network monitoring + JIRA tracking tools.
  • Soft Skills: approachable, logical, conscientious, problem solver, proactive, rapport builder, communication, organised + self-motivated.
