Andover (Hybrid/Remote)

£400-440/day (Outside IR35)

Non-Functional Tester needed for a 6 Month Contract in Andover (Hampshire). Must offer strong Oracle, Linux + migration projects experience.

Working on a hybrid remote basis with 2 days on-site in Andover and 3 days remote/WFH. Start ASAP during Jan/Feb 2023.

Must either be active SC Security Cleared or fully eligible to undergo the SC Security Clearance process.

A chance to work with a global digital transformation business on a large-scale Government IT modernisation programme:

• Non-functional testing, deployment, configuration + upgrades for Oracle 10g/11g/12c, RedHat Enterprise Linux + Windows / SQL Server platforms.
• Oracle DB testing, patching, upgrades + deployment including: CPU patches, BOS updates + Oracle Apex.
• Building / provisioning Windows Server + RedHat Enterprise Linux Server within Microsoft Azure + VMware vSphere client environments.
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure testing, configuring + setting up ADO release pipeline for deployment.
• Writing test scripts, test cases, test plans, test execution, test reports + maintaining test environments.
• Snapshot Management -ie- creating, reverting, deleting + maintaining snapshots using VMware / vSphere.
• Background as Linux Administrator or Oracle DBA would be advantageous.
